The Gujrat Public Service Commission (GPSC) administers the civil services test for Gujrat Administration Services (Class 1), Gujrat Civil Services (Class 1), and Gujrat Municipal Services (Class 2). (Class 2). The
GPSC Class 1-2 is conducted every year. The exam is conducted in three stages- Prelims, Mains and Interview Round.

While the Prelims consist of 2 papers of 200 marks each, Mains comprises 6 papers of 150 marks each. GPSC Educational Qualification

According to the GPSC, the educational requirements for the GPCS Class 1 and 2 tests are as follows:

       A bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognised university is necessary.

       Candidates must have a basic understanding of computers.

       Candidates must be fluent in Hindi/Gujarati/both.

GPSC Eligibility: Other Details

       The number of attempts: There is no specified maximum number of attempts for the GPSC exam 2022. Candidates must confirm that they have not exceeded the Commission's maximum age limit.

       Work Experience: According to the official GPSC eligibility criteria, prior work experience is not required for the exam.

       Nationality/Citizenship: The applicant must be an Indian citizen. To be eligible for reservation benefits, the candidate must be a Gujarat resident.
